| I attended Heather Graham's "Writers For New Orleans Workshop" Labor Day weekend 2007. What a great time! About 150 people attended. Authors, hopeful authors, and editors were all there. The guest of honor was author F. Paul Wilson who gave us many words of writing wisdom. On Saturday, starting at 10 AM, we had a whole day of excellent workshops. Friday and evening, we were treated to two excellent parties, and Saturday evening was Heather Graham's Voodoo costume party and dinner. Sunday was the Book Fair. I can't say enough good things about this workshop. On top of that, it benefited the folks of New Orleans. If you're interested in attending next year, get your reservations in early. They'll be putting a cap on the attendance, and I suspect it will fill up fast. Check out my Photo Gallery for pictures. |
